TAM A320 at Sao Jose do Rio Preto on May 17th 2014, burst tyre

A TAM Lineas Aereas Airbus A320-200, registration PR-MAA performing flight JJ-3740 from Sao Paulo Congonhas,SP to Sao Jose do Rio Preto,SP (Brazil) with 144 people on board, landed on Sao Jose's runway 25 and came to a stop short of the end of the runway with a burst tyre. The aircraft needed to be towed to the apron.

A passenger reported hearing a loud bang during the takeoff roll accompanied by a brief swerve of the aircraft.

The airline confirmed a flat tyre upon arrival in Sao Jose do Rio Preto, all passengers were able to disembark normally.
