LAN Argentina A320 near Mendoza on Mar 19th 2014, bomb hoax

A LAN Argentina Airbus A320-200, registration LV-CKV performing flight 4M-4648 from Buenos Aires Ezeiza,BA (Argentina) to Santiago (Chile), was enroute near Mendoza,MD (Argentina) when the crew decided to divert to Mendoza as result of a phone call indicating a bomb on board. The aircraft landed safely in Mendoza and taxied to a remote apron.

A search of the aircraft and luggage found no trace of explosives.

A replacement aircraft delivered the passengers to Santiago the following day after passengers tweeted their frustration.
