Eurowings CRJ9 at Dusseldorf on May 5th 2014, bird strike
A Eurowings Canadair CRJ-900 on behalf of Germanwings, registration D-ACNV performing flight 4U-9519 from Bilbao,SP (Spain) to Dusseldorf (Germany), was on final approach to one of Dusseldorf's runways 23 when a bird impacted the nose of the aircraft causing damage to the radome and the weather radar. The aircraft continued for a safe landing.
Radome and weather radar needed to be replaced.
