White A313 at Sao Tome on Dec 27th 2013, bird strike

A White Airbus A310-300 on behalf of TAP Air Portugal, registration CS-TQV performing flight TP-254 from Sao Tome (Sao Tome and Principe) to Lisbon (Portugal) with 103 passengers, was in the initial climb out of Sao Tome when an engine (CF6) ingested a bird prompting the crew to stop the climb and return to Sao Tome for a safe landing.

The flight needed to be cancelled due to the damage to the engine. The aircraft was able to return to Portugal the following day.
