Thai A346 at Bangkok on May 27th 2014, could not fully retract landing gear
A Thai Airways Airbus A340-600, registration HS-TND performing flight TG-916 from Bangkok (Thailand) to London Heathrow,EN (UK), was climbing out of the Bangkok when the crew stopped the climb at FL150 due to one of the gear doors not closing. The aircraft returned to Bangkok for a safe landing about 90 minutes after departure.
The flight was cancelled.
A proximity sensor was identified at fault.
