KLM B738 at Amsterdam on Sep 12th 2014, rejected takeoff
A KLM Boeing 737-900, registration PH-BXR performing flight KL-1109 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Stockholm (Sweden), was accelerating for takeoff from Amsterdam's runway 36L when the crew rejected takeoff at high speed (above 84 knots over ground) due to a bird strike. The aircraft slowed safely and returned to the apron.
Following inspections the aircraft was able to depart again and reached Stockholm with a delay of 3:10 hours.
