Jazz DH8A near Toronto on Oct 1st 2014, hydraulic leak

A Jazz de Havilland Dash 8-100, registration C-GONJ performing flight QK-7802 from Sudbury,ON to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 37 people on board, was enroute when the crew noticed the hydraulic quantity indication decreased. On approach to Toronto the crew needed to use the alternate gear extension and requested emergency services on stand by. The aircraft landed safely on runway 05 about 7 minutes after the crew requested emergency services on stand by, vacated the runway and stopped on an adjacent taxiway for an inspection by emergency services.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenence found a leak in the steering manifold, the steering manifold was replaced.
