First Air AT42 at Resolute Bay on Sep 26th 2014, dropped wheel

A First Air Avion de Transport Regional ATR-42-300, registration C-GUNO performing flight 7F-883 from Resolute Bay,NU to Arctic Bay,NU (Canada) with 15 people on board, concluded what appeared to be an eventless flight with a safe landing in Arctic Bay.

The Canadian TSB reported however, that during the walk around the crew discovered that the left hand outboard main wheel assembly was missing. The wheel assembly was later found near the runway at Resolute Bay. The wheel assembly was replaced.
