Endeavor CRJ2 at Winnipeg on Mar 10th 2014, could not fully retract gear

An Endeavor Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of Delta Airlines, registration N8416B performing flight 9E-3628/DL-3628 from Winnipeg,MB (Canada) to Minneapolis,MN (USA) with 51 people on board, was climbing out of Winnipeg when the crew received a gear disagree indication after retracting the landing gear. The crew worked the checklists, extended the landing gear again and received a down and locked indication. The aircraft returned to Winnipeg, touched down safely. During roll out, while slowing through about 70-60 knots, the aircraft began to shudder. The crew stopped the aircraft on the runway, emergency services responded.

The Canadian TSB reported an inspection revealed the torque link of the nose gear had become disconnected after takeoff and permitted the nose gear to caster during landing, the nose gear tyres were worn down. The aircraft was towed off the runway.
