Emirates A343 near Lusaka on Mar 14th 2014, cabin pressure problems

An Emirates Airbus A340-300, registration A6-ERN performing flight EK-714 from Lusaka (Zambia) to Dubai (United Arab Emirates), was climbing out of Lusaka about 20 minutes into the flight when the crew initiated a descent to FL100 due to problems with the cabin pressure. After attempting to fix the problem the crew attempted another climb but needed to abort again due to problems with the cabin pressure and subsequently returned to Lusaka for a safe landing about 70 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled.

The incident aircraft reached Dubai as flight EK-714D with a delay of 48 hours.
