China Eastern E145 at Changzhi on Jun 19th 2014, overran runway on landing

A China Eastern Airlines Embraer ERJ-145, registration B-3056 performing flight MU-2487 from Wuhan to Changzhi (China), landed on CHangzhi's runway 04 at 09:53L (01:53Z) but overran the end of the runway and came to a stop about 300 meters past the end of the runway with all gear on soft ground.

The airline confirmed the aircraft overran the end of the runway while landing in rain, all humans on board of the aircraft are safe. The causes of the runway overrun are under investigation.

According to local information out of Changzhi the aircraft may have suffered a hydraulic failure prior to landing.

Changzhi Airport features a runway 04/22 of 2600 meters length, runway 04 is equipped with an ILS.
