Brussels RJ1H near Amsterdam on Sep 9th 2014, engine problem
A Brussels Airlines Avro RJ-100, registration OO-DWJ performing flight SN-2283 from Brussels (Belgium) to Oslo (Norway) with 72 people on board, was climbing through FL230 about 15nm south of Amsterdam (Netherlands) when the crew declared Mayday and decided to return to Brussels reporting a #4 engine (LF507, outboard right hand) problem. The aircraft landed safely back on Brussels' runway 02 about 65 minutes after departure.
A replacement RJ-100 registration OO-DWK reached Oslo with a delay of 2:40 hours.
