An American Eagle Embraer ERJ-145, registration N696AE performing flight MQ-2906 from Evansville,IN to Chicago O'Hare,IL (USA) with 44 people on board, was climbing out ot Evansville when the crew stopped the climb at Fl260 reporting an engine failure and decided to divert to Indianapolis,IN (USA), where the aircraft landed safely on runway 23R about 20 minutes later.

The remainder of the flight was cancelled.
