TAP A332 near Vitoria on Mar 28th 2014, weather radar failure
A TAP Air Portugal Airbus A330-200, registration CS-TOG performing flight TP-66 from Rio de Janeiro,RJ (Brazil) to Porto (Portugal), was enroute at FL370 about 45nm north of Vitoria,ES (Brazil) when the crew decided to return to Rio de Janeiro. The aircraft landed safely at Rio de Janeiro about one hour later.
A passenger reported the aircraft encountered "lot of turbulence", subsequently the crew announced their weather radar had failed.
The aircraft flew to Porto as flight TP-2546 the following day reaching Porto with a delay of 22 hours.
