Qantas A333 at Hong Kong on Apr 21st 2014, engine vibrations
A Qantas Airbus A330-300, registration VH-QPJ performing flight QF-30 from Hong Kong (China) to Melbourne,VI (Australia), was climbing out of Hong Kong's runway 07R when the crew stopped the climb at 9000 feet stating they needed to run some checklists and return to Hong Kong due to some engine (CF6) vibrations. The aircraft dumped fuel and landed safely on Hong Kong's runway 07L about 50 minutes after departure.
The airline confirmed the aircraft returned to Hong Kong due to engine vibrations.
