Polar AN24 near Yakutsk on Jul 17th 2014, engine shut down in flight

A Polar Airlines Antonov AN-24 on behalf of Yakutia, flight RKA-417/R3-417 from Yakutsk to Ust-Nera (Russia) with 34 passengers and 4 crew, returned to Yakutsk after one of the engines lost power and was shut down. The aircraft landed safely.

The East Siberian Transport Investigation Department investigates the occurrence.
