Pegasus B738 at Trabzon on Jul 13th 2014, bird strike
A Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration TC-AAN performing flight PC-135 from Trabzon to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen (Turkey) with 140 passengers, was climbing out of Trabzon's runway 11 when a bird impacted and fractured the windshield. The crew aborted the climb and returned to Trabzon for a safe landing about 20 minutes after departure.
A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration TC-AAS reached Istanbul's Sabiha Gokcen Airport with a delay of 90 minutes.
