Monarch A320 near Faro on Jul 28th 2014, hydraulic failure

A Monarch Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration G-OZBW performing flight ZB-982 from Birmingham,EN (UK) to Funchal (Portugal), was enroute at FL350 about 100nm west of Faro (Portugal) when the crew reported a hydraulic failure and diverted to Faro, where the aircraft landed safely on runway 28 about 25 minutes later.

The passengers were taken to hotels over night.

The occurrence aircraft was repaired, departed Faro after about 21 hours on the ground and reached Funchal with a delay of 22 hours.
