Lufthansa A320 at Budapest on Sep 27th 2014, engine shut down in flight

A Lufthansa Airbus A320-200, registration D-AIPH performing flight LH-1683 from Budapest (Hungary) to Munich (Germany) with 159 passengers and 6 crew, was in the initial climb out of Budapest's runway 31L when the crew reported an engine problem, stopped the climb at 4700 feet, shut the engine down and returned to Budapest for a safe landing on runway 31R about 15 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto other flights.
