LG Walter DH8D at Nuremberg on Aug 6th 2014, dropped wheel on rollout

A Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter de Havilland Dash 8-400 on behalf of Air Berlin, registration D-ABQD performing flight AB-2703 from Split (Croatia) to Nuremberg (Germany), landed on Nuremberg's runway 28 when a wheel separated during the roll out. The aircraft came to a safe stop, the passengers disembarked normally.

The aircraft is still on the ground for repairs and investigation.
