Ikar B752 near Da Nang on May 12th 2014, loss of cabin pressure
An Ikar Boeing 757-200, registration VQ-BBT performing flight IK-2522 from Nha Trang (Vietnam) to Novosibirsk (Russia) with 202 passengers and 7 crew, was enroute at FL330 about 20nm northeast of Da Nang (Vietnam) when the crew initiated an emergency descent to FL100 due to the loss of cabin pressure and decided to return to Nha Trang about 240nm south of Da Nang. The aircraft landed safely back in Da Nang.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Vietnam more than 28 hours after landing.
The West Siberian Transport Prosecution Office opened an investigation into the occurrence.
