Gol B738 at Brasilia on Jan 27th 2014, hail strike

A Gol Linhas Aereas Boeing 737-800, registration PR-GIV performing flight G3-1674 from Brasilia,DF to Fortaleza,CE (Brazil), was climbing out of Brasilia when the aircraft flew through hail and received damage to the nose, windshield and one of the engines (CFM56) prompting the crew to shut the engine down. The aircraft returned to Brasilia for a safe landing.

A passenger reported the aircraft flew through hail just after takeoff, one engine was shut down.
