Germania A321 near Valladolid on Sep 9th 2014, hydraulic failure

A Germania Airbus A321-200, registration D-ASTW performing flight ST-3520 from Dusseldorf (Germany) to Lanzarote,CI (Spain) with 187 passengers, was enroute at FL350 about 70nm northwest of Valladolid,SP (Spain) when the crew decided to return to Dusseldorf due to a hydraulic failure. The aircraft landed safely back in Dusseldorf about 4 hours after departure. The aircraft was towed to the apron.

The aircraft was able to depart again after about 10 hours on the ground in Dusseldorf and is currently enroute to Lanzaroute estimated to arrive with a delay of 14 hours.

The airline reported technical anomalies required to use of a tow truck to tow the aircraft to terminal.
