Easyjet A319 at Glasgow on Sep 15th 2014, unsafe gear
An Easyjet Airbus A319-100, registration G-EZEB performing flight U2-883 from London Gatwick,EN to Glasgow,SC (UK), was on final approach to Glasgow's runway 05 when the crew initiated a go-around at about 1200 feet MSL due to an unsafe gear indication. The crew worked the related checklists, performed an alternate gear extension and landed safely on runway 05 about 20 minutes later.
A passenger reported the crew reported they went around due to the gear not having locked down during the first approach. After safe landing the passenger noticed upon disembarking the aircraft that all gear doors were open.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Glasgow about 12 hours after landing.
