Blue Panorama B763 at Rome on Jul 30th 2014, cabin did not pressurize
A Blue Panorama Boeing 767-300, registration EI-FCV performing flight BV-1404 from Rome Fiumicino (Italy) to Havana (Cuba), was climbing out of Rome when the crew stopped the climb at about FL220 due to the cabin not pressurizing properly. The aircraft descended to FL160, about 30 minutes later to FL080 and landed safely back at Rome about 110 minutes after departure.
The airline reported a problem of technical nature. The passengers were taken to hotels. The airline hopes the flight can resume about midnight with a delay of about 14 hours.
