Avianca A320 at Valledupar on Apr 4th 2014, bird strike
An Avianca Airbus A320-200, registration N284AV performing flight AV-8595 from Valledupar to Bogota (Colombia) with 118 people on board, was climbing through 700 feet AGL out of Valledupar when a bird, most likely a buzzard, impacted the left hand engine (CFM56) resulting in engine vibrations. The crew stopped the climb and returned to Valledupar for a safe landing.
The flight was cancelled.
