American MD83 at Dallas on Jun 28th 2014, bird strike

An American Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-83, registration N596AA performing flight AA-1381 from Newark,NJ to Dallas Ft. Worth,TX (USA), landed on runway 17L. During roll out a bird impacted the aircraft causing damage to the left hand engine (JT8D), the aircraft rolled out without further incident and taxied to the apron.

The FAA reported the aircraft received damage to the left hand engine.
