Virgin Atlantic A346 over Atlantic on Oct 21st 2014, turbulence injures flight attendant
A Virgin Atlantic Airbus A340-600, registration G-VRED performing flight VS-5 from London Heathrow,EN (UK) to Miami,FL (USA), was enroute over the Atlantic Ocean when the aircraft encountered severe turbulence causing injuries to a flight attendant. The aircraft continued to Miami for a safe landing, the injured flight attendant was taken to a hospital.
The FAA reported the flight attendant received serious injuries as result of severe turbulence encountered over the Atlantic Ocean.
