Bush DC3 at Talkeetna on Jul 15th 2014, overran runway

A Bush Air Cargo Douglas DC-3, registration N777YA performing cargo flight 8061 from Deadhorse,AK to Talkeetna,AK (USA) with 2 crew, landed at Talkeetna at 15:55L (23:55Z) but overran the end of the runway before coming to a stop. One of the pilots received injuries.

The FAA reported the aircraft overran the end of the runway on Jul 15th 2014 at 23:55Z, one pilot remained injured, the other was injured, the aircraft sustained no damage.

Talkeetna features a runway 18/36 of length 3500 feet, RNAV, VOR/DME and NDB approaches to runway 36 are published. No instrument approaches to runway 18 are published by the FAA.
