United B752 near Newark on Apr 21st 2014, cabin pressure problems

A United Boeing 757-200, registration N14121 performing flight UA-70 from Newark,NJ (USA) to Amsterdam (Netherlands), was enroute at FL310 about 55nm east of Boston,MA (USA) when the crew decided to return to Newark reporting a maintenance issue. The aircraft landed safely back in Newark about one hour later.

A passenger reported the crew announced they were having problems with the cabin pressure. After landing emergency services followed the aircraft along runway and taxiways.

A replacement Boeing 767-400 registration N76054 reached Amsterdam with a delay of 3.5 hours.
