United B738 at San Jose on Mar 30th 2014, bird strike
A United Boeing 737-800, registration N17233 performing flight UA-1098 from Houston,TX (USA) to San Jose (Costa Rica), landed on San Jose's runway 07 maintaining routine communication.
The return flight UA-1099 was cancelled however.
A passenger waiting for return flight UA-1099 reported they were waiting for their flight past scheduled departure time, then they were told the inbound aircraft had suffered a bird strike resulting in damage to one of the aircraft's wings.
