United A320 at New York on Nov 2nd 2014, bird strike

A United Airbus A320-200, registration N486UA performing flight UA-692 from Chicago,IL to New York La Guardia,NY (USA), was on an approach to La Guardia's runway 31 when a bird impacted the aircraft's nose. The crew continued for a safe landing.

The FAA reported the aircraft receiving minor damage to the radome as result of a bird strike on approach to La Guardia Airport.
