TAP A321 at Terceira on Feb 5th 2014, bird strike
A TAP Air Portugal Airbus A321-200, registration CS-TJG performing flight TP-1822 from Lajes Terceira Island to Lisbon (Portugal), was climbing out of Lajes' runway 33 at about 20:30L (21:30Z) when the crew stopped the climb at 7000 feet reporting a bird strike into one of the engines (CFM56) and returned to Lajes for a safe landing on runway 33 about 20 minutes after departure.
The aircraft had arrived in Terceira with a delay of about 9:40 hours and departed at about 20:30L instead of scheduled 11:55L.
