A TACV Cabo Verde Airlines Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-500, flight VR-4051 from Praia to Sao Filipe (Cape Verde) with 72 people on board, was on approach to Sao Felipe when a Rufous-capped Antthrush impacted one of the propellers of the aircraft. The crew continued for a safe landing at Sao Felipe.
The aircraft was unable to perform the return flight to Praia (still VR-4051) however.
