Lease Fly AT42 at Lyon on Nov 3rd 2014, rejected takeoff due to tyre damage

A Lease Fly Avions de Transport Regional ATR-42-300 on behalf of Chalair, registration CS-DTO performing flight CE-72 from Lyon to Limoges (France) with 25 people on board, was accelerating for takeoff from Lyon's runway 18R when the aircraft developed an abnormal bank angle and vibrations prompting the crew to reject takeoff. The aircraft slowed safely, one of the main tyres was found fully deflated. The passengers disembarked onto the runway and were bussed to the terminal.

The wheel was replaced and the aircraft subsequently towed off the runway.

The flight was cancelled.
