Laser MD82 at Valencia on Mar 17th 2014, both nose tyres blown on landing
A Laser Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-82, registration YV2945 performing flight QL-890 from Porlamar to Valencia (Venezuela) with 96 people on board, burst both nose gear tyres while landing at Valencia Airport at about 20:30L (01:00Z Mar 18th) and came to a stop on the runway with tyres and both nose wheels damaged and was disabled. No injuries occurred. The passengers disembarked onto the runway and were taken to the terminal.
The runway was closed until the aircraft could be towed to the apron.
