Jazz DH8A near Sept-Iles on May 11th 2014, engine shut down in flight
A Jazz de Havilland Dash 8-100, registration C-GONX performing flight QK-8705 from Sept-Iles,QC to Quebec,QC (Canada) with 12 passengers and 3 crew, was climbing through 8000 feet out of Sept-Iles when the crew received a low engine oil indication for the left hand engine (PW120A). The crew shut the engine down and returned to Sept-Iles for a safe landing.
