Iran MD82 at Bandar Abbas on Oct 29th 2014, blew tyre on landing

An Iran Air McDonnell Douglas MD-82, registration UR-CHW performing flight IR-256 from Tehran Mehrabad to Bandas Abbas (Iran), touched down at Bandar Abbas when passengers heard an unusual sound described as frigthtening and vibrations of the aircraft. The aircraft slowed down safely, vacated the runway and stopped on an adjacent taxiway while emergency services responded and reported one of the tyres had blown.

UR-CHW used to be operated by Bukovyna Aviation Enterprises (Ukraine) but was transferred to Iran Air in August 2014.
