Indigo A320 at Kathmandu on Mar 8th 2014, smoke from brakes during roll out

An Indigo Airbus A320-200, registration VT-IEU performing flight 6E-31 from Delhi (India) to Kathmandu (Nepal) with 176 passengers and 6 crew, landed normally on Kathmandu's runway 02. During the roll out smoke was observed from the right hand main gear. The aircraft stopped on an adjacent taxiway and was evacuated via slides through the left hand doors. No injuries are being reported, emergency services responded and cooled the brakes.

The return flight was cancelled.
