Ikar B763 near Beijing on Oct 1st 2014, APU problems
An Ikar Airlines Boeing 767-300, registration VQ-BOG performing flight KAR-2532 from Nha Trang (Vietnam) to Khabarovsk (Russia) with 250 passengers and 10 crew, was enroute at 10700 meters about 150nm south of Beijing (China) when the crew received a low oil quantity indication for the APU and decided to divert to Beijing for a safe landing about 30 minutes later.
The aircraft and flight is still on the ground in Beijing about 31 hours after landing.
The West Siberian Transport Prosecution Office is looking into the occurrence to verify compliance with legislation and respect of passenger rights.
