Gulf A320 near Budapest on Jul 16th 2014, flight computer problem

A Gulf Air Airbus A320-200, registration A9C-AO performing flight GF-19 from Bahrain (Bahrein) to Paris Charles de Gaulle (France), was enroute at FL380 about 90nm east of Budapest (Hungary) when the crew decided to divert to Budapest reporting a problem with the flight controls. The aircraft landed safely on Budapest's runway 31R about 45 minutes later.

The Elevator Aileron Computer (ELAC) was replaced and the aircraft was able to resume the journey after about 4.5 hours on the ground. The aircraft reached Paris with a delay of 5 hours.
