Easyjet A319 at Belfast on Nov 18th 2013, hydraulic failure
An Easyjet Airbus A319-100, registration G-EZAM performing flight U2-267 from London Stansted,EN to Belfast International,NI (UK), was on approach to Belfast descending through 4000 feet when the crew aborted the approach reporting hydraulic problems, climbed the aircraft to 6000 feet and entered a hold to work the relevant checklists. The crew subsequently declared emergency reporting a hydraulic failure, they would not have nose gear steering and needed to be towed off the runway. The aircraft landed safely on Belfast's runway 25 about 25 minutes later and was towed off the runway. Attending emergency services reported hydraulic fluid leaking from the aircraft.
The airline confirmed a "technical issue".
