British Airways A319 at Amsterdam on Mar 21st 2014, fumes in cockpit
A British Airways Airbus A319-100, registration G-EUPW performing flight BA-438 from London Heathrow,EN (UK) to Amsterdam (Netherlands), was descending to 2000 feet about to intercept the localizer runway 18C when the crew declared PAN reporting oily fumes in the cockpit and requested an expeditious approach. Another aircraft was pulled off the approach. G-EUPW continued for a safe landing on runway 18C and subsequently taxied to the gate with emergency services following the aircraft to the gate.
The return flight BA-439 was cancelled.
