Belavia E195 at Batumi on Jul 28th 2014, bird strike
A Belavia Embraer ERJ-195, registration EW-400PO performing flight B2-738 from Batumi (Georgia) to Minsk (Belarus) with 99 passengers and 5 crew, was in the initial climb out of Batumi when an engine (CF34) ingested a bird prompting the crew to return to Batumi for a safe landing.
A replacement Boeing 737-500 registration EW-251PA reached Minsk with a delay of 12.5 hours.
The occurrence Embraer ERJ-195 was able to position back to Belarus about 20 hours after landing back to Batumi.
