Austrian A320 near Vienna on Aug 15th 2014, cracked windshield

An Austrian Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration OE-LBR performing flight OS-809 from Vienna (Austria) to Thessaloniki (Greece), was climbing through FL340 out of Vienna when the crew stopped the climb due to a cracked windshield and returned to Vienna for a safe landing on runway 34 about one hour after departure.

A replacement Airbus A320-200 registration OE-LBO reached Thessaloniki with a delay of 2.5 hours.
