Astana A320 at St. Petersburg on Sep 7th 2014, bird strike
An Air Astana Airbus A320-200, registration P4-KBG performing flight KC-135 from Almaty (Kazakhstan) to Saint Petersburg (Russia), landed on Saint Petersburg's runway 28R but received a bird strike hitting the right hand engine (V2527). The aircraft rolled out safely.
The aircraft was unable to perform the return flight KC-136, which was cancelled.
The aircraft remained on the ground for a week and positioned back to Almaty on Sep 14th as flight KC-1360.
