Arkefly B763 near Amsterdam on Mar 3rd 2014, near collision with weather balloon

An Arkefly Boeing 767-300, registration PH-AHQ performing flight OR-363 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Curacao (Netherlands Antilles), was climbing through FL100 out of Amsterdam's runway 18L when the crew reported they had just missed a weather balloon by about 4 meters just over Valkenburg (Naval Air Base), located about 15nm southwest of Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport. Departure therefore advised the subsequent departures of the weather balloon. The Arkefly Boeing 767 continued the flight to Curacao for a safe landing across the Atlantic.
