American MD83 at Colorado Springs on Jan 23rd 2014, could not retract nose gear

An American Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-83, registration N76201 performing flight AA-1150 from Colorado Springs,CO to Dallas Ft. Worth,TX (USA), could not retract the nose landing gear after departure from Colorado Springs. The aircraft stopped the climb at 10,000 feet and returned to Colorado Springs for a safe landing about 20 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled.

Information available indicates that the nose gear oleo lost its fluid.
