American B752 near Phoenix on Aug 24th 2014, bomb hoax

An American Airlines Boeing 757-200, registration N621AM performing flight AA-362 from Dallas Ft. Worth,TX to San Diego,CA (USA) with 179 passengers and 6 crew, was enroute at FL380 about 30nm southeast of Phoenix,AZ (USA) when the crew received information about a bomb threat against the aircraft and decided to divert to Phoenix for a safe landing about 30 minutes later.

Passengers reported the crew announced they were diverting due to a safety issue.

Tweets suggested American Airlines flight 362 might have explosives on board.

The aircraft was able to continue the flight and reached San Diego with a delay of 5 hours.
