Air Canada E190 near Calgary on Dec 16th 2013, hydraulic failure

An Air Canada Embraer ERJ-190, registration C-FNAQ performing flight AC-573 from Los Angeles,CA (USA) to Calgary,AB (Canada) with 83 people on board, was enroute when the #1 hydraulic system developed a leak. The crew worked the relevant checklist and shut the hydraulic system down. On approach to Calgary the crew declared emergency and requested emergency services on stand by. The aircraft landed safely on Calgary's runway 17R and stopped on the runway for an inspection by emergency services before taxiing to the gate.

The Canadian TSB reported the engine driven hydraulic pump developed a leak and was replaced by maintenance.
